Tra Tien Green Tea and Sampler Boxes

Tra Tien is Trung Nguyen's own tea division. As with gourmet coffee, high quality green tea in Vietnam is generally consumed domestically. Vietnamese tea is almost entirely unknown in Canada, yet it is a healthful, refreshing, and minimally-processed beverage. We have really been enjoying experimenting with these newly-imported teas!

The sampler box is a great way to try small quantities, and they also make a great gift for holidays, birthdays, etc. If you want to ship several gifts, just list the addresses in the Contact Form and we will reply with correct shipping cost and a URL on which to pay.

We ship same day for orders received by 2 pm or on the next business day for later orders. All shipments are via Canada Post.

This elegant green tea comes in a vacuum foil bag inside an attractive box. As with all our teas, it is minimally-processed and full of fresh green tea goodness. Its jasmine scent comes from real jasmine petals, which provides a subtle and natural aroma and lightly sweet flavor. The whole, tiny tea leaves' flavor is complex and rich while lightly acidic.

Tam Chau Flower Oolong Tea

This top-quality Oolong tea, similar to Formosa's Oolong 18, begins as tightly-folded tea buds, each containing two or three leaves. When brewed, they unfold, origami-like, into charming tea flowers floating in a lovely jade-green cup.

This lightly-fermented Oolong has a fresher, more delicate taste than most Oolongs, and will appeal both to lovers of Oolong and those who usually prefer classic green tea. This whole-leaf green tea has been scented with Jasmine flowers, making for a delicate tea with wonderful aroma. This tea takes well to sweetening and also works as a tea to serve with dessert, besides being an excellent tea in its own right.
